Does The Mansion's Bed & Breakfast require a minimum nights' stay?

Generally speaking, you can stay for just 1 night or as many nights as you’d like. However, during peak times and holiday weekends, a 2-night stay may be required. Visit our booking engine to find out if a 2-night stay is required during your trip.

Can more than 2 people stay in one room?

Room rates are based on a 2-person occupancy. If you would like to have more than 2 guests stay in a room, there will be an added charge of $25 per person over the first two.

Is The Mansion B&B within walking distance to restaurants and shopping?

Yes! Some of the best shopping and places to eat are located on Walnut Street here in Shadyside, PA – just 2 short blocks away from The Mansion Bed & Breakfast. For more ideas of things to do while you’re in Pittsburgh, visit the Around Town page.

Is breakfast included in the rate? What type of breakfast do you serve?

A full breakfast is part of the room rate for 2 guests per room. If there are more than 2 guests in the room, or if you have friends from the area that would like to join you for breakfast, additional breakfast charges will apply. The Mansion B&B has an extensive breakfast menu and can accommodate those with special dietary needs.

Is there onsite parking at The Mansion at Maple Heights?

Yes, we have gated parking on the premises for extra security for our customers and their vehicles.

Is there an elevator in The Mansion at Maple Heights?

No, there is no elevator on the premises.

How can I make a reservation for your Bed & Breakfast?

You can book a room online using our booking engine here on this website. You can also give us a call at 412.586.7940, and one of our associates would be more than happy to help you book over the phone. If using a gift certificate, you must reserve your room via phone.

Can I use a Mansion Gift Certificate to make a reservation through the Mansion website?

When making a reservation with a Mansion at Maple Heights gift certificate, the reservation must be made via telephone. All reservations made through the booking engine online will be processed regularly via credit card.

What time is check-in? Check-out?

Check-in is strictly between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Since we are not a standard hotel, we cannot accommodate early check-in. If you need to arrive later than 8 p.m. due to a late flight, we ask that you call and let us know so that we can make sure an associate or manager can accommodate you. Check-out time is at noon.

Are there time restrictions to when you can come and go once you've checked in? Is there a curfew?

We are all adults here… You can come and go as you please, regardless of time.

I received a gift certificate! How do I redeem it?

Gift certificates can be redeemed by calling The Mansion at Maple Heights Bed & Breakfast at 412.586.7940. Gift certificates are nonrefundable and cannot redeemed for cash. Redemption is subject to room availability and some blackout dates apply. Gift certificates expire one year from date of purchase.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

The Mansion at Maple Heights will authorize the credit card used to place the reservation for the total amount of the reservation to hold the reservation at the time of placement. In the event of a cancellation at any time, 50% of the total reservation is non-refundable. Guest’s reservations canceled within 7 days prior to arrival date will be charged 100% of the total room cost of the stay.

What is the Cancellation Policy if my reservation was made using a Mansion Gift Certificate?

Once a gift certificate is redeemed, upon making the reservation, the same cancellation policy applies: If cancelled 8 days or more prior to the reservation, the Gift Certificate will lose 50% of its value. If cancelled within 7 days or less of the reservation date, the gift certificate is considered redeemed and loses all monetary value.
